Tractor Training Courses
Tractors are very versatile vehicles with a wide variety of uses, for business and more recreational users. The ever-wider range of types and attachments now available makes them even more flexible and effective tools in land-based industries. These courses are aimed at farmers, growers, local authorities, groundskeepers and greenkeepers.
Performing maintenance to the standard of the manufacturers instruction manual, ensuring the tractor is in a safe road-going state, is of paramount performance.
But even the most experienced tractor drivers need to update their knowledge and skills to get the best out of new machinery.
Safety is paramount: serious accidents can and do occur without proper training.

Pesticide Training Courses
Pesticides are very widely and successfully used in land-based industries. Pesticides are potentially harmful substances and it is essential that they are handled, applied and stored by people who have received proper training. These courses are aimed at landscape contractors, greenkeepers, local authorities and farmers.
Use of pesticides is governed by the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 (FEPA), the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 1999 (COSHH).
The regulations require employers to ensure that pesticides are applied only by employees who have received appropriate training in their safe use. If you are self-employed, the regulations still apply.
In certain circumstances employees must also be assessed and acquire a Certificate of Competence.
